Hunger Crush may process information that you voluntarily provide while using the app, including:

• Foods, meals, ingredients, and restaurant-related searches you enter.

• Questions and messages submitted through the Hunger Crush Coach.

How We Use Information

Snap My Plate and Image Processing

The Snap My Plate feature allows you to submit a photo of your food or meal for analysis.

When you use this feature, the selected image may be transmitted to an artificial intelligence service for processing. The service may analyze the image to identify foods or ingredients and generate nutrition-related educational suggestions.

Food recognition performed through artificial intelligence may be incorrect or incomplete. Hunger Crush should not be relied upon to identify allergens, diagnose dietary conditions, determine precise nutritional content, or make medical decisions.

Hunger Crush Coach

Hunger Crush includes an AI-powered Hunger Crush Coach that can answer nutrition-related questions and provide meal ideas and general educational guidance.

Messages you send to Hunger Crush Coach may be transmitted to OpenAI for processing so that a response can be generated.

AI-generated responses may contain errors and are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Third-Party AI Services

We use the OpenAI API to support certain artificial intelligence features in Hunger Crush, including features such as Hunger Crush Coach and AI-powered meal or image analysis.

When you use these features, information necessary to complete your request—such as your message, meal description, or submitted image—may be transmitted to OpenAI for processing.

OpenAI processes this information according to its applicable terms, privacy practices, and API data policies.

Meal Builder and Food Library

Hunger Crush includes a searchable food library and Meal Builder that allows users to select foods and evaluate how those foods contribute to a Hunger Crush Combo.

Information about the foods you select may be processed within the app to provide meal-building feedback, suggestions, and progress information.

The Hunger Crush Score and related indicators are educational tools and are not clinical nutrition assessments.

Meal Rhythm and Progress Information

Hunger Crush may allow you to record meal-related reflections, including information such as:

• Satisfaction after eating.
• Energy later in the day.
• Frequency of food thoughts.
• Meal type or date.
• Hunger Crush Combo activity.

The app may use this information to display your recent check-ins, weekly patterns, streaks, milestones, badges, and other progress information.

Restaurant Navigator

The Restaurant Navigator provides examples of ways users may build more satisfying meals when ordering from restaurants, fast-casual establishments, takeout services, or while traveling.

Restaurant recommendations, ingredient information, and suggested meal combinations may not always reflect current menus, exact recipes, allergen preparation practices, or nutritional information.

Users with allergies, intolerances, medical conditions, or other dietary requirements should confirm ingredients directly with the restaurant.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app’s features, maintain user progress, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the security and integrity of our services.

Some information, such as meal history, check-ins, streaks, or account-related progress, may be retained so that those features remain available to you.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and premium access. RevenueCat may receive information associated with subscriptions and purchases, such as transaction identifiers, product identifiers, subscription status, and related technical information.

RevenueCat processes this information according to its own privacy policy.

Consent to Share Consumption Data with Apple

When permitted by Apple and applicable law, Hunger Crush may provide Apple with information regarding the consumption or use of purchased content when necessary to assist Apple in evaluating refund requests.

Accuracy of AI and Food Analysis

Artificial intelligence systems can make mistakes.

Hunger Crush does not guarantee that:

• A food shown in an image will be identified correctly.
• Every ingredient in a meal will be detected.
• Suggestions will be appropriate for every user.
• Restaurant information will always be current.
• Nutrition-related responses generated by AI will be complete or error-free.

You remain responsible for verifying information that is important to your health, safety, allergies, or dietary requirements.

Children’s Privacy

Hunger Crush is not intended to independently collect personal information from children under the age required to provide consent under applicable privacy laws.
